Fixed a bug where the “Rain of Fire” Incantation sometimes did not hit enemies.

Rain of Fire

Increased attack power.
Reduced the interval between each hit.

Praying to God it's not

Damage is nothing impressive, but it works. Still doesn't really feel worth using though, especially since it forces you to stay in the wind-up animation for so long.

I just tried it against the good old giant at Godricks and almost one shot him with it, this thing might be decent as new giant melter, plus significantly safer to use than Burn O flame or even the Pest Threads, since both require to be close to the target.

I would need further testing.

I guess it might be okay against big enemies that don't move a lot?

Well after some testing i noticed the range isnt that good, which is kinda of a shame

Rain of fire is the fire version of founding rain of stars, so set your expectations. No one uses founding rain of stars either.

Tbh, its hilarious how they actually bother to buff Rain of Fire to be actually usable while Rain of Stars is still in the dirt.

Maybe they want to test the waters with rain of fire and then buff rain of stars? I dunno, I feel like these two needs a lot more. While I doubt it will happen, it would be nice if we got to a point where the rain spells are actually good and can melt the big bosses if set up right.

I actually managed to get 11000 damage with rain of fire with a build focused around fire so it's a pretty good buff :WitchSad:

I tried it against Bayle with a 3 team and it did decent dmg considering he has resistance to all elements.

Granted i might have done better if the freaking dragon had a focus point besides his head...

That's awesome! I guess you can just rain down destruction with it. Just curious, what's your setup to make this happen?

Against a drake with a good amount of fire resistance still managed to get 6351 damage, but my build is like really focused around fire so it helps a lot.
Rain of fire is now a excellent giant killer

If you manage to find a window of 2~3 seconds to actually use it while using a fire focused build, it can deal some respectable damage on large enemies that can actually get hit by more than 1 or 2 projectiles. Otherwise, there's better spells to use your FP with on both damage and reliability.
