Black Blade incant vs. Black Knife skill

I'm doing a black flame/grim reaper themed build, but there's not a lot of good black flame incantations so I thought I might branch out to include other death-themed stuff. I was looking at the Black Blade incantation, which I believe is the only Destined Death spell in the game, and wondering how it compared to the Black Knife's weapon art. It would be nice to perhaps save myself the two memory slots Black Blade requires.

It's a shame there aren't any other Destined Death spells or any weapon arts. I also kind of wish Death Lightning was better, and that we had more death lightning spells/weapons/ashes of war. Lastly, I'd love to also pick up some ghostflame stuff, but it's all INT-based. Even with the Staff of the Guilty, I'd have to invest deeply into INT to use most Death sorceries. Maybe Ghostflame Call, but I've heard it's not good, and it apparently can't be put on scythes.

there's a new ghostflame breath dragon incantation in the dlc and a staff that can be used to cast incantations and sorceries if you did want to invest in int.

I believe the percentage health drain death spells stack so it could be worth using them together. There is an ash of war called ghost flame call and deaths poker great sword if you wanna try those as well.
