Hole southeast of Dragon-Burnt ruins near lake Agheel

What's up with this hole? I imagine it's deadly to jump in but does it have any relevance or something?

If I remember correctly, that loops you back to the area directly above the tutorial cave, where you get warped to after the Grafted Scion right at the start of the game. There's a... Pearldrake Talisman on a ledge there iirc?

I know the hole he's talking about, it does look like it should be something but it's just a death pit. You're talking about the beach with the Onyx Lord that leads to the cave.
