Elden Beast Is Far More Annoying Than Final DLC Boss
I dont remember him being this annoying. Even now with Torrent he just ♥♥♥♥♥ off as soon as I reach him.

Edit^ I killed him again post patch. Thanks for all the comments. He's still far more annoying than the DLC boss.

Nvm didn't see that, still he shouldn't be problematic. He has a very recycled move set.

nice! he's annoying for sure, but i find the light show even more bothersome

No it is not, "not being able to see most of the fight" due to crap lightshow cluttering whole screen over and over is far more annoying and disgusting.

Who would think From would make a bossfight that would actually make Elden Beast enjoyable (without Torrent).

Wait until you meet the sunflower boss in DLC.

Due to inconsistent AI it can range from being annoying to many times worse than Midir or Elden Beast.

At the start of phase 2 it will dash 2-3x through you across a very large arena. However, normally it should stop after that and let you close in. But I've seen a number of times where it will spam ranged attacks until you get close then dash away. I once spent over 5 minutes chasing it and couldn't hit it once due to it dashing the moment I was remotely near (but still not even that close) before I just let it kill me and redid the fight as the range it dashes to is very far and then it just spams ranged attacks the entire time.

Honestly, that thing could very well have only 1 stage and be placed as Scadutree Avatars over the DLC world, it having 3 staages to be 3x the exact same thing is stupid (and the fight is not fun anyway neither is hard, it is just "why?")

Sunflower Boss was a piece a piss lol

*Edit I was using Eleanoras Poleblade which is perfect for Mr Sunflower.

Atleast I wasnt chasing the boss the ENTIRE time lol.

At least I can see wtf Elden Beast is doing.
Radahn I can not see anything, even when I cheesed him I could not see anything and was dodging more on instinct and timing.

Sunflower boss is one of Froms worse bosses period.

There are times where it literally spams the head slam like 6 - 7 times. And the arena sucks. And the design of the boss sucks. The whole thing is terrible.

I guess you werent using any kind of fire damage whatsoever :S Which I plan to do next playthrough actually XD As im sold on using the build I beat DLC final boss with on every DLC boss in my second playthrough. Which is not the build I used for the whole DLC on my first playthrough.

Shooting myself in the foot much yes.
