Is there a second way to get to Farum Azula ?

Besides the well known glitch at the Four Belfires, I mean - I'm trying to do it honestly.

I just murdered the fire giant again, but I'm thinking that maybe there's a way to get to Farum Azula that doesn't involve that girl immolating herself yet again. I recall the character you first meet in the north urging me not to let her sacrifice herself. Fine........ is there a portal somewhere that I'm not aware of ?

The two "real ways" to get to Farum Azula are to either burn Melina, or to visit the three fingers and burn yourself. It's the same process though, the same site of grace after Fire Giant.

You lose Melina either way, through her burning herself or her turning on you when you inherit the frenzied flame. The forge of the giants is the only path.

Explore Leyndell sewers, there will be a boss, there's an illusory wall behind the boss, make your way down, there will be a door, strip naked to open it. Melina will get pissed and leave, but you will get a cool ending cutscene with her.

Note. If you go for the Lord of frenzied flame you will lock yourself out of the other endings and Melina will swear to kill you eventually. But you can cancel this with the gold needle purging the frenzy flame after burning yourself to get to farum azula, this saves melina and lets you get other endings. Sadly theres no special end cutscene that takes this into account, just the regular endings.

I don't remember where for sure it was over a year ago. But I am %100 positive I went to Farum Azula somehow through a poırtal early game, and got my backpart handed to me.

I landed to the place where there were alll those beastmen in that open space area.

I wonder how that happened ? Glitch ? I don't really intend on 'finishing' this game, as after I clear the regular content I'm going to go do the dlc areas. If I'm not mistaken, once you choose an official 'ending', you have no choice but to go NG. Am I mistaken ? I've actually finished the game a few times and I recall this being the case.

No, when finishing the game you’ll be given the option to go to NG, but you can decline if you wish

the only wait to get the azula proper is through the forge, regardless of if its through mel or through frenzy.

you can get to a fragment of it through the 4 belfry.
