AoW or Spell with converging bolts from sky that death blights?

Ran into a guy that had what looked like a long or short sword, would raise it into the air, it summons yellow bolts in a circle around you and they converge inward while applying death blight?

Anyone know what it is?

The only thing sounds like that to me is the incantation Death Lightning (wiki link- https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Death+Lightning ), I could be wrong as I have not tried all spells and ashes of war yet but it does sound like it, its similar to ancient dragons lightning strike( it's red not yellow bolts).

You probably have mistaken him raising his sword for just casting a spell (or this is the new glitch with sorcery catalyst sword which actually only can cast sorcery). The spell itself is a remembrance spell from Lichdragon Fortissax, Death Lightning

Thats a cheater 100%. There is no sorcery or incantation bulding deathblight that works like what you described, it looks like if he managed to give Shadowland deathblight build up.....

We also got 0 deathblight <Whatever> this expansion so yeah.....cheats.

Yep, can confirm Leda's sword, thanks. As to how the Death Blight buildup, unsure, I saw there was something to do with the madness torch while looking around but I do not remember if he had it equipped.
