I can't access the Rold Route after beating Maliketh

well i beat Maliketh, i had the cutscene and the erdtree burned, but I never went to the snowy mountains.

maybe there is some way to go to rold route anyway?

I'm confused, genuinely asking, how did you get to Crumbling Farum Azula without running the snowy mountains? The only way I can think of to pull that off would be using cheats or a wrong-way warp maybe?

Yeah, i used some glitch that i find on youtube which is that i used the teleporter in four belfries and when i restarted the game I randomly spawned in Azula, I didn't think it would ruin my game so much

I was thinking about finishing the game and using ng+ and then with ng+ go to rold route and also exploring the snowfields but I don't know if it will work

Ah, gotcha. I'm not well-versed in using wrong-way warps so I'm not sure quite how to resolve your issue but I'd be happy to try and help you troubleshoot it. Did you get the Rold Medallion from fighting Morgott? If you did, you may still be able to use it on the lift.

If that doesn't work, there might be a wrong-way warp to the snow fields you can try; I *think* I remember reading about one once when I was messing around with some speed-runner tactics.

Yes, i have the Rold Medallion in my inventory

In that case, I believe you can just run the traditional route. Go back to the Avenue Balcony site of grace, open the double doors, run to the lift, run through the snowy route there and you should be able to use the Rold Medallion at the lift just past the Kindred boss.

Well, the problem is that I no longer have Avenue Balcony site of grace on the map

Ah, gotcha. Quick question then, if you travel to Leyndel is it converted to the ashen capital? If so I think you might just be out of luck without using cheats to revert the world state which would run the risk of getting a ban.

Yeah, when I'm in Leyndell it's just snow everywhere or I don't know what it is

In that case yeah, your world state is locked into the Ashen Capital, unless there's a wrong-way warp you can take to get to the consecrate snowfields you might just be out of luck this playthrough. I'll see if I can find anything out for you though.

Sure thing, happy to help! 'm not aware of anyone getting banned for using glitches, just out and out cheats. After about a thousand hours I got bored and started seeing what bosses I could glitch kill and I've made Mohg fall through the floor about 10 times without any problems (though that's been patched now).
