Not one bit scummy and absolutely acceptable. Refusing to inflate the egos of the Limgrave/Acadamy gank tourist and their 2 bIow me buddies is the best thing you can do unless your character/loadout is tuned for that type of engagement.
My 2 cents though, is that unwinnable battles are still worth the fight. Every bit of experience, in victory or defeat, is a chance to learn and improve.
When you come across a gank, it may be worth it to see how long you can survive, and then try to beat that time again and again. Once you’ve become good at surviving spell spam, and blenders, then you can start to try counter-attacking. Then move onto parries, backstab-fishing, etc.
Reminds me of an old saying: “The Master has failed more times than the student has even tried.”
The first is you never invading in the first place.
Just remember when you invade someone... regardless of whether their friends are prepared or not... they do NOT want you there. So you leaving on your own is the best outcome.
Coop bros also dont really care.
... except nobody makes it.
You guys are so boring.
