Duh. I respect others opinions so if you liked it or if anyone else did, im stoked for you guys.
But i thought it was literally the worst boss encounter ive ever experience IN a fromsoft game.
I didn't mind it at all, thought it was quite easy and pretty neat design.
It was a Scadutree Avatar at the base of the Scadutree. Could have been one of those tree worms and that would have been worse.
- me walking through the boss fog
But hey, sorry you didn't like the boss. At least you aren't required to fight it.
Easy simply charge up...then BONK
The fact that it was just the same fight on repeat over and over again and how you can literally just stand behind the boss the entire fight and never get hit while using Bloodflame to literally tank its entire health pool in like 2 minuets.
Every stage was the exact same except for two moves. The one where he runs back and forth and the other one where he shoots out all those beams.
Compared to almost any other major boss in the entire game, i personally feel like the design was weak and lazy and it honestly felt more like a placeholder boss then anything else. That entire area could have been better used to introduce the player to a key item rather then a boss fight that both looks lame but is also lame to fight.
A simple cutscene would have been better then that imo. Just go into the area, talk to someone or interact with something, watch a cutscene, get the item. That would have just been better if Fromsoft didn't have the time to make a boss on the level of their other ones.
But again, this is just my take.
Mostly cause its a main story boss. I would have been more forgiving if it was more like the Avatars in terms of it being a side boss out in the open world. But as a main story, rememberance boss i felt like it wasn't on the level, or even close to being on the level of the other bosses in the game.
