Who's excited for ELDEN RING 2???

I think the formula has been bled dry and I wouldn't want any new souls game from Fromsoft at this point, but what the hell do I know? Maybe the fans can't wait for ER2?

So if From would announce ER2 today or next month or whatever, would you be excited?

i would be excited if the next game wont have summons, a thing that only divides comunnity, and er 2 story what would it be?, we kinda ended all the story

Who cares, it's wonky Souls lore, whatever goes.
Maybe it's a prequel story wise, or set in an alternate dimension or whatever the ♥♥♥♥ 'Zaki dreams up after hitting the opium pipe.
As long as it's as atmospheric and weird as we expect it, personally don't care. It would be soul-sy and that's enough for me.

There are very few things that excite me anymore in gaming to be honest, so no, I wouldn't be.

Would probably still buy day one because I can be reasonable sure what I get, have not been disappointed so far except DS2 for reasons that don't matter for this discussion and anyway 3 out of 4 including DLC is a good track record for me to pretty much blindly buy a possible 5th.

we already have ER 2 at home, this DLC is at least 60 hours, and even then, I havent explored everything yet, I keep seeing some new weapon in youtube that I never saw.

Would be excited for an ER 2 if ever it comes. But I think we will see bloodborne remaster first... or dark souls 2 remaster actually... easier cash grabs that dont need new assets, just updated graphics.

Either ER 2 or yet another DLC, dark souls 3 had 2 of them, dark souls 2 had 3 dlcs I think? Faint hope... we still have the bad lands and the land of reeds.

curious to see if people with 800hrs in the base game (reviewed negative at 200hrs mark) + 100 in the dlc (bought despite negative review of the game, reviewed negative as well, still playing hrs every day) will play elden ring 2 and review it negatively

Whether or not it goes by Elden Ring 2 or a different name is impossible to know. But I think it's pretty safe to say that we will get another game a lot like this.

Putting aside ER's huge success, Miyazaki also said he felt that with ER, Fromsoft was getting closer to his dream game.

But if they do end up making one and it's still at least as good as this one then I won't complain either

Odds are they will. They coulda milked Dark Souls for all it was worth but they didn't, which is both extremely ballsy and extremely respectable given how popular the series was getting.

The only way I think they'd keep going with Elden Ring is if the publisher forced them to, and well i'm pretty sure from owns the ER IP now soooooo

Depends on the concept of the game. I would love ER2 with more lore on Melina and Godwyn, but most importantly it should be set in linear/hub-world, not in the open world. I'd buy this. If it's another open world then pass because I've yet to replay ER for the 3rd time which isn't a good sign cause I owned it since release. ER is huge, but it has so much padding that it hurts. Pt2 would actually kill me.

Boring dlc kinda killed my interest in ER tbh. Turned me anti open world with how empty and tedious it felt.
