this game is bad

My main issue with this is the lack of direction, yes the combat is the same old ds thing but ok, whatever. The thing is: ANY GAME, NO MATTER HOW HARD IT WANTS TO BE, SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE FINISHED WITHOUT YOU EVER NEEDING TO PRESS ALT TAB AND RESORTING TO ONLINE GUIDES.

I have beaten many hard games before, got stuck for days and never had to resort for tutorials or cheeses, that's how i think it should be. But with this one... i have jsut beaten the second boss "godrick" and i'm stuck watching youtube tutorials because the game doesn't push you any direction whatsoever. The fact that so many "where to go after godrick" videos exist tells you how lack of direction in this game is a problem. But even with the guides there doesn't seem to have a consensus on where i'm supposed to go next. Wtf?? I still have no idea where i'm supposed to go and i just want to finish this game so i can move on and never think about it again.

I just picture how someone who just bought this and doesnt' have the habit of wacthing online guides would deal with this. Am i supposed to just search everything like it's an actual mmorpg? That's jsut stupid, plain and simple. Classic fromsoftware, it amazes how can they come with such and amazing concept (games that are hard boss oriented) and still suck so much at it.Maybe if the game was fun i would feel like randomly exploring a huge map without any particular direction; but this one doesn't even seem to entertain me enough to that.

The graphics are bellow average, the combat is just ds3 and that's pretty much it. I can't even have a first couple of hours of gameplay before it puts me in a boss that will take at least 50 attempts to beat. If i could get a little bigger experience with this trash i would ask for a refund, but no, i just have to waste my refund window on this boring ds3 boss and now i'm stuck with this game (around 70 dollars btw).

And don't even get me started on the graphics and combat, i have just finished lies of p wich made me wanna go for another soulslike, so i cant avoid the comparison. It's a joke how 2009ish this game feels and looks. In conclusion, i'm never playing fs games again in my life.

People started googling fextra and YouTube videos for meta sake. Not just to learn meta but more importantly to not break quests. Unfortunately, developers picked up on this and led to even further reliance on online sources. Hence, invisible doors you could only find by googling and a plethora of other examples. FS is not the only offender.

i mean, your surprised cause you, somehow, didn't even know the most bare bones user interface interactions that exist in hundreds of games, which goes just beyond this game, on top of not reading the things you obtain (especially when they say map, of all things)

yeah exactly, this is why i have this love/hate relationship with fs, there are actual doors in ds3 where you need to basic attack them in order to progress in a dlc. how insane is that? there is no hint whatsoever of that being a possibility. they are just hoping you go online in order to beat the game. sorry guys i think this is a joke

It's not, but it is one of the best games in the last 2 years.
You don't like how vague it is, I get that, and that makes it not for you...

As for your image that is the Grand lift of Dectus, and it requires finding two halves of a Medallion... the 1st piece you might find doing a quest, or just exploring, the description tells where the 2nd piece is....

I didn't get to Altus this way.... because I didn't find the 2nd medallion piece because I didn't think to read the 1st. I ended up going thru the cave system... oh yeah, there are multiple paths to Altus BTW.

This is the Grand Lift of Dectus, it's the name of the grace point, too
Altus Plateau, is the Area at the top of the Lift. you need to find the 2 pieces of the Medallion to use it.

The 1st piece I don't think you get a hint to, but I stubble on it just roaming the Limgrave.
