Tips for using Mohgs spear?

I'm level 144. What do you guys think my stats should be? Should I equally split runes between str and arc? Also...do you have any tips for using this weapon against Godfrey?

This is pure Arc weapon because Arc scales both physical and fire damage, and weapon art scales with arc up to 80. You should get base Str and Dex and dump the rest in arc

Is the damage still good even when the AoW wears off?

Basically, Bloodboon Ritual with a Great Spear attached to it. I use it for mobbing and for NPC Tarnished enemies. An enemy weak to bleed can say goodbye to their blood supply. That's pretty much it.

Mediocre. It's far from the worst in the game, but equally far from the best.
