Any tip for Morgott?
Never thought I would be struggling so much that I feel like I need to ask others but here I am. Currently sitting at 26 tries making him the first real great great wall of the game for me. Any tips for this particular fight?

Update: After having watched different videos of people fighting morgott, I have decided that I will respec my entire character because I do realise that it sucks ass, not just me who sucks ass. I will focus on vigor, endurance, dex and arcane cause I do realize that I am depending on status effects, especially bleed. So ima do that and upgrade my weapons(feels like ima use the claws for this one) as far as I can. Might switch up armor, currently wearing parts of the radahn stuff since that's currently the strongest stuff I got. I will probably use mimic too even though I am generally against using summons but I realize that this game hasn't really clicked with me yet and I wanna get through the fight. Now I feel like I have an actual change in this fight now that I know what I want to do with my character.

And thanks to all for giving advice on what to do and when to do(and when not to do) :)

well you can watch my videos i posted here in this thread and see what to do vs each attack.
try to figure out 3-4 attacks and see what i did there.

Like enemy does move a -> sonnenbank did roll forward then attack or roll backward twice etc etc

GL
you will beat Morgott but from now on it will get significantly harder in the future

A few final thoughts:

* Don't upgrade endurance past 30. Spend those points elsewhere.

* Be sure you are no more encumbered than 'Medium'.

* Check your Talismans for viability with your gear and build.

* Make sure you have good Body, Aura, and other buffs ready to go.

Good Luck

1 I always make sure to be able to medium roll. Accidentally did a crucible knight with fat rolling, wasn't a fun experience I gotta say. Managed to get him, but still, wasn't too fun.
2 I would say the best talismans I have are increased health, stamina and stamina regen
3 I'll do the best I can with the buffing abilities I have available

I would not lean to hard into Defense. Your best Defense is to kill the Boss quickly. Look for the Talismans that best improve the specific offense you are building.

Same with the Buffs. Your Physic Flask, Golden Vow, Jellyfish Shield (if appropriate), Incantation or Sorcery Buff, Food Buff, ground Buff if casting. Tons of stuff to buff up with. Makes all these Boss fights fast and deadly. :)

Ladies and Gentlemen....we got him. As soon as I did respect, upgraded weapons a bit and went for almost full radahn armor(minus helmet), I did him first try now with no hesitation. That's 27 tries which is the highest of any boss in this game so far but most of those tries is me going in with no strategy and hoping something would happen. So glad I did a respec. The feeling of relief is amazing.

Well, there you go, still it only gets harder from there on (and good luck trading hits like that on the DLC and optional areas).
