Is Lizard Greatsword bugged?
The tooltip/UI says it deals strike damage. However all the R1 and R2 moveset attacks do not do strike damage. I've tested this on various enemies weak and reactionary to strike damage, and it does not seem to have the strike damage effects. Hopefully this is a bug.

Yikes! You are right. Tested it on miners, clearly not strike damage.

Good catch. I would've wasted max upgrade on it.

I hope that's a bug and it actually is supposed to do strike damage instead of slash. It would make it stand out a lot more if it did.

makes me wonder if the theory that the dlc was rushed is correct. seems every day now more and more bugs or oversights are found

That is a good catch, maybe it’s just referring to the ranged attack?

If you want a sword that deals strike damage, the Stone-Sheathed Sword is a good option. Just make sure to NEVER unsheathe at one of those altars (those upgrades are pretty questionable anyway).
