How to reduce percentage based scaling (Modding). Black flame is too OP for seamless co-op.
its been 6 hours since I'm trying to mod the regulation file to reduce percentage based damage, i.e. Bleed, frost, black flame, scarlet rot etc. Since those are too OP for 6 players and increasing health does nothing against it.

I could change values of items, but there are sooo many, it will take me years to do that. So, I looking for any multiplier to reduce the percentage of damage those gives. Like black flame from 10% to 3-4%

If anyone is experience with modding, please tell what parameter do i need to change to change those values. are there any multiplier which i can change? Or any mod which already exist. Using smithbox btw

Have you tried adjusting the respective black flame dots parameters in the SpEffectParam table? Taking a quick look at the ID: 835 (Black Flame Tornado Dot) I think altering the duration (effectEndurance) or the "changehprate" could be used to nerf those effects.

However, I haven't modded those, so I don't know if they would actually work in game.

if you use elden ring reforged it basically does this already, it also includes difficulties to give the bosses more hp. Downside is you will all need to start fresh saves.
