Glitch with falling through the floor if summoned via Small Golden Effigy (Final Site of Grace)

For whatever reason if I use the Small Golden Effigy and get summoned for the final boss of the DLC, I keep falling through the floor, after being spawned under the site of grace.

Is the host's name "Himmler"? If yes, I think he is purposely summoning people then trapped them in death loop.

You use small effigy to find coop then get summoned by the dude who is trapping people in death loop. How he is doing it? I have no idea. You can try again. I've done it twice and I'm not using small effigy for now. At least not wide range. But Imma just put sign at some bosses I want to help ppl with.

Just block the guy if it is indeed some hack.

I've seen this once before DLC, at Radagon.

Me, other phantom and host all randomly fell under the map but not all at once.
We didn't die, we could move few meters under the arena.
It seemed like a glitch but who knows.

Maybe verifying the game would also be good idea.

So not a glitch, just some guy hacking.

I just summoned 2 cooperators, and this happened:
1. got a network error
2. Fell through the floor
3. Every time I revive I fall through the floor, so I’m in a death loop
Even after exiting the game or moving to a different grace site it still happens. This is my main save file, and I don’t have a backup…

I don't think your case is related to the old one from this thread.
Hackers become much worse lately.

Without a backup you're kinda screwed unless you try to fix this with Cheat Engine.
I don't know anything about CE so can't help you there.

Save backups are unfortunately mandatory since Dark Souls Prepare to Die in 2012.

hey hey, im having the same problem. Yesterday me and some friends were in VC and i summoned them for coop.
We got invaded a few times and i think one of those invaders was hacking, because while we were preparing to face Mohg this happened to us as well. I even "landed" in a cutscene from the dlc and then spawned at a grace in enir ilim, when i hadnt even beaten mohg yet.

Since then it has happened a few times, where we'll be in coop and a minute or so into coop, when an invader would probably appear, we get the network error, endless falling & death loop so i have to close the game in task manager.

My friend found this reddit post with people having a solution to a similar problem, but i havent tried it out yet: https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/comments/ti29fz/please_help_i_keep_falling_through_the_map_when_i/

Hopefully we both can find fixes to this issue (o゜▽゜)o☆

this new hack damage the savefiles if you have no manual backup your savefile is useless.

oh thats a shame, i sadly dont have a backup from before being hacked.

At this point im pretty close to the end of the main game (halfway through farum azula with haligtree & mohgwyn palace done).
Since the falling hasnt occured when playing by myself ill just finish the main story with this character on my own & then start a new savefile. Luckily ive got a different savefile for the seamless coop.

This is still going on?

1. Use a screen recorder. Start recording.

2. Get summoned by that hacker.

3. Open Steam overlay, open the info tab (bottom far left), scroll down to recent players, open that window and try to discern which player is the hacker. They will often be at or near the top. Click the supposed hacker's profile. Take note of the URL which shows their Steam ID.

4. Exit game.

5. Trim the video so it starts as you get summoned and ends after you look at who you think the hacker's page is.

6. Upload video to Youtube.

7. Report hacker to Steam and Bandai Namco. Don't forget to include a link to the Youtube video. Be sure to include the hacker's profile URL. You'll specifically need their Steam ID for Bandai Namco. (it's the string of numbers in their URL)

this has happened to myself and two other friends while we were playing. We got invaded right before the entering consort rahdan and then this just started happening. Last time before we got off Rahdan started using some ability that belonged to Mohg....
