Invisible guys in Ordina
How are you supposed to fight the invisible assassins in Ordina evergaol? They are completely invisible and all of the sudden they one-shot you from behind. Is there some talisman, sorcery, something that lets you see them? Assassins are already tough enough visible. And first you had to run blindly into a completely white screen in the Consecrated Fields. I had to do it a dozen times until somehow I managed to slip through by >>>sheer luck<<<. All this part of the game is complete BS.

did you buy the Sentry's Torch from the Hermit Merchant in Altus? it shows invisible enemies. you can even put the torch in your left hand, two hand your weapon which puts the torch on your back, and it will still show invisibles

You can cheese them by sneaking up on them:

This is as SL1 so i'd imagine if you are SL150 it ought to be even easier. Get the Sentry's Torch and just follow the path i've shown in the video. Make sure you aren't seen and if you can stun lock them it's game over.

This^

Without the torch, the only way to catch them is by looking for their footprints in the snow as they make no sound due to the armor they use.

The Sentry torch will save you a lot of frustration.

Thank you I'll get the torch and study the video.
BTW any suggestions and how to tackle the Consecrated Fields? For my next playthrough.

Follow the lights on the ground.

Augh... the torch requires 15 faith.

you don't need the Faith, it will show invisible enemies without enough Faith

Is this one guy following around, or several guys? Because he always appears in the most convenient manner. Not that I can fight him anyway, especially without a shield. I think I managed to kill one of these once, in the capital. With melee that is, I mostly use magic. I think I'm gonna just try to run through it.

There are 4 Black Knife Assassins, and they don't respawn when killed.

There's more than one. They are all in fixed spots but tend to move back and forth on a short path, except for one that is just sitting down staring into nothing.

Watch the video i posted you can just cheese them by turning them into pancakes before they get to do anything. You just need to make sure you aren't seen first otherwise they go flying around with their endless spinning combos.

The only one you need to watch for btw is the one past the stairs. You cannot go behind him, no matter how invisible or silent you are, so you have to find a way to lure him out without alerting him.

My Meteoric sword (I'm a mage remember) does less than half their health in damage in a backstab, and once they start flying around I'm toast. I'll have to find an alternative way (like I've done most of the game, I'm amazed myself to have gotten this far :-D ).

bro, use the sentry's torch from the merchant next to the north entrance to Leyndell, lets you see them once you are in range, then you can sneak up and backstab or attack them with weapon arts
after backstabbing them id blasphemous blade them into oblivion

I usually take a path which avoids them, lighting the lower torch last (which has a cloaker in front of it).

I just ran around directly to the ladders and lighted the torches, dying a couple of times. After watching a video, no way I would ever had figured that out by myself). Then I sniped the archers which are also problematic but manageable.
