Pureblood Knights Medal missing!

I don't get it. I know Varre gave me the medal after beating the npc at the writhblood ruins and giving him the bloodstained cloth and after defeating Radahn at Caelid, I go ahead to use the medal and now it's gone! What just happened here? Is it a glitch or something? I know about the teleporter at the consecrated snowfields but I don't want to have to defeat 3 or 4 more bosses just to get there. This is crazy. From needs to give us a way to access the DLC quicker. This is so discouraging. Sorry for the rant.

I'm pretty sure if you use it it disappears from your inventory. Did you not grab the SoG or something?

When I got the medal I actually went to see if it was in my inventory. It wasn't there and I thought it would appear later in the game. I know Varre says something like don't use it too soon or something to that affect so I figured I was going to access it later.

Don't know why From requires us to perform all these ticky tacky details to keep certain items we worked so hard to get. And if we don't they're gone. Feel like quitting this game cycle and read a book lol.

There isn't an intended mechanic that removes the medal. I don't think you can even get rid of it once you've got it, the leave and discard options are grayed out. So if it never appeared after finishing Varre's questline, then it's a bug

First, stop crying. Unless you're Miyazaki himself, From Software isn't going to change up how they are going to structure questlines and objectives. We're just going to have to live with it.

Second, did you actually use the Pureblood Knight's Medal? The only way it will disappear from your inventory is if you entered NG+. Otherwise, it can be used infinitely.

The other odd thing is that the bloodstained cloth is obtained from the dead Finger Maidens, not Radahn. In fact, you don't even have to face off against Radahn to complete the questline up to Varre giving you the medal. You can just go ahead and find the corpses from wherever they are found regardless of game progress.

Yup it was a bug alright. I also remembered getting the iron fist weapon and yet it’s missing from my inventory as well. But alas I made to the palace anyway through the teleportation post so it’s all good.
