A Great Shield and Guard Counters. His stomp attack, the AoE can be jumped over.

Even if you're bad at dodging, it's worth learning as you'll see a bunch of Crucible Knights throughout the game. Try rolling into him, not away from him.

I didn't say I never dodged. I panic rolled everything that attacked me lul
I never learned how to dodge correctly meaning I have the really bad timing and reflexes first souls games I didn't play any other for this reason.

Come back much later with "flame of the redmanes" weapon art. It's super useful and staggers most enemies on the 2nd hit, including crucible knights.

Tbh they are not of a trouble less for their dmg, dodging is quite fine and not hard (never parried even once at ER).

Try watching some videos about them to get an idea of the timing without having to just smash your head against them repeatedly.

i dont parry and beat him. jut roll and one attack is how i beat him maybe two. Getting thirsty will get you ♥♥♥♥♥♥

I just use the buckler in my left and parry his ass. Literally parry simulator 2022. His attacks are so slow and obvious and the buckler is so easy to parry with. You just push the button and riposte, and then repeat.

Have you tried parrying? It really isn’t as bad as it seems. Not god like timing or anything. It’s similar to rolling but you get a cool animation and a stabby out of it. Use the buckler tho.
