The Alexander Quest

well, it seems after killing Radahn, my Alexander doesnt move to where theyre suppose to move, I think the new update aka the one that added Jarburg prevents him from moving from Radahn's Arena towards the hole near Jarburg, is there a solution for this or nah?

I had it multiples times where he straight up skips the hole near Jarbug, so hes likely at Gelmir already.

Worth checking out.

well you see I did check the one on Glemnir and hes not there, this is basically my 2nd playthrough now and its the first time happening

I had him going near Jarburg in my current run so it's not broken (could be buggy though) : have you talked to him in Radahn's arena ?

In any case, on my first run I missed him near Jarburg and could still complete his quest, several steps are optionnal. Just make sure you talk to him in Radahn's arena (and exhaust his dialogues)

heres the funny part, I actually exhausted his dialogue and all what he says "youre coming with me boys till the bitter end" (not really what he says but its close enough)

Well despite all of the above suggested so far. He just straight up won't budge from the arena. Wonder if my second playthrough will get similar issues.

Um... two suggestions would be to try the Church of Vows just to be sure or Verifying the files.

well, verified file integrity and church of vows, he still wont budge, guess its off to NG+ to see if the questline is still broken

I don't know if this helps, but in several hundred hours of ER I've never found Alexander in the Jarburg hole, but every time I've gone to Farum Azula he's been there. Like Blaidd, it seems he's capable of getting himself loose eventually.

Oh wow, never seen those lines before... they're not even listed on his wiki page, but someone in the comments mentions them.

"Alright lads, I'm going to take you on a little journey.

There are also several comments pointing to this happening if you miss him in Limgrave, meeting him in Gael Tunnel first, is that your case as well ?

No one seems to have a solution though so I guess you're screwed

This isn't your fault. It's simply many quests can bug out at any time it seems. Just an example, Edgar didn't invade me at Revengers Shack for easily 6 weeks after launch, although doing every quest step prior. Then From mentioned fixing this particular issue in 1.03 or 1.04 patchnotes. Alongside Vyke not invading at Church if Inhibition.

So yeah, until it's not mentioned in upcoming patchnotes, Alexanders quest can bug out at some point it seems.
