Can't give Sorceress Sellen the potion for the Witch Ranni quest

Just got a mission from this one guy (can't remember his name, but it's the guy who acts like a jack ass) to bring a potion to Sorceress Sellen. I went to her location, defeated the Pumpkin Head Boss, and there is no option to give her the option or the scroll. The only thing I can do is buy spells from her.

The potion isnt for her at all.

He gives you a note that you can then give to her, to continue the quest.

Not 100% sure on this, but apparently you can talk to Iji as an alternative to get the same info.

Yeah but I don't have an option to give her the note either. Am I suppose to do a quest for Sellen too? How do I start that?

There are multiple locations that you can find Sellen in, make sure you are in the correct one.

I think you simply have to accept being her apprentice and youre good to go, idk why you cant give her the note.

Did you agroo any of the NPCs by any chance? try using the Church of Vows or Verifying the files.

So took a look at the wiki and my guess is that you have to have the Festival active (theres many triggers for that) and interact with Jerren, since apparently Iji will comment on him, and will mention the info about Radahn.

Dont start the fight with Radahn (by saying youre ready to Jerren)

I thought the potion is for Nephalix or you can pass it to Gideon.
