The most expensive healing is 42 Faith, being Erdtree Heal.
But if you only want buffs, i think 35 with Protection of the Erdtree.
It's hard to say where to go with minimum faith, kinda depends on what buffs you are going to use to be honest, but I would say get 25 minimum faith for golden vow and an assortment of other buffs.
38, 30, 25, 12 and 10 are all the important caps for me.
38 if you want to be have every buff.
30 if you just want all the good buffs.
25 if you want Golden vow + all the other strong buffs 25 faith gets you, like the strongest anti magic damage buff.
10 if you just want the anti elemental buffs with the 12 being that + a health regen buff.
With just 15 Faith you can already have fabulous buffs like Flame Grant Me Strength, Electrify Armament, Order's Blade, Bestial Vitality, all the basic elemental Fortifications, and still have access to Great Heal and the weaker Dragon Breaths as well as Pest Threads.
38 for the best hp regen
30 for Black Flame's Protection
27 for the highest requirement of the elemental damage mitigation spells
25 for golden vow
I'd say 25 if you don't want black flame's protection, or 30 if you do.
Healing and weapon buffs both scale with faith (not strength or arcane, even if your seal does).
