Dragons that disappear in Farum Azula

Hello, I have encountered 2 dragons in that area (I dont really know if it is the same one) I get its HP down to a certain point and the dragon disappears. Is it possible to kill them? Is it worthy?

Both ancient dragons drop Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone, and the second one guards a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone next to it.

Now you can make them dispawn if you outrun them or under other circumstances. Reset in a grace and they will respawn untill you kill them.

They are two different ancient dragons in the case of Lannsseax he pulls a "Adula" and flees after you beat him below 40%, waiting for you elsewhere in Altus so a different situation.
