Anybody knows how `The Poison Flower Blooms Twice` actually works?
https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Ash+of+War:+The+Poison+Flower+Blooms+Twice

Apparently if you kick something with it that is already affected by poison or rot, it should deal the remaining damage of the poison or rot instantly.

But I made a weapon that can inflict both rot and poison and managed to inflict it on an enemy, and when I used this skill, it still dealt the same damage as before.

Weirdly enough, it dealt the same damage when it detonated, regardless of whether I inflicted rot or poison.

Does anybody have some exact stats or formulas on how this thing works?

Where did you get the assumption that it deals the damage of the remaining status? It states only dealing increased damage with the condition met.

Though it not doing a double check and purging the other condition without dealing damage at the same time definitely sounds scuffed

Oh i like it!. The ash of war "jump" builds rot ( i know....weird) but what actually does is consuming a full poison build up to deal extra damage. You basically will sacrifice the poision DOT for burst damage.

Thats all! No need to overthink or complicate it.

Ah, so it doesn't deal the whole damage that the poison should have inflicted, but in one go?

Well then, it makes it completely useless xD I mean the damage is not even that high for the hassle you have to go through to apply a status effect.

Im sure there is some way to make it useful....but im sure it involves wearing the mushroom crown.....sod it then!

Does it not? I'm pretty sure it's supposed to detonate the poison or rot doing all of the damage at once and resetting the status, though it states on the follow up attack in the tool tip. It's either a bug then or there's a cap on how much damage this burst is allowed to cause.

EDIT: Confirmed it works this way for me.
