Bayle Without Igor

If you defeat Bayle without summoning Igor do you still get his armor and weapons?

Or does not summoning him lock you out of his goodies?

You can still get his gear without summoning him for the fight. I think you can do that with any NPC side quest. All you have to do is win.

You can also just kill him for it

You dont even need to talk to him. I decided to let the two dragons kill each other and ignored them during my first playtrough. After dealing with Bayle dont ask me why i decided to go back and noticed something shiny in the floor....it was Igon corpse with all his loot.

But that would mean skipping his precious dialogue, who would want that?

Me during my first blind playtrough during relase day! Again after my second Bayle kill (did killed the two random dragons and talked to him) because i failed to find Igon summoning sign....But third time is the charm! For the third kill i got the REAL Bayle fight with a rain of HARPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONS.
