The gank fight. why does it even exist

5 npc's, at worst 4 in the field at the same time. who decided we needed this sort of fight. who actually likes the fight. you could have done a gauntlet of 1v1s but NO you just had to put them all in the field letting their moves overlap and leaving you with 0 attack windows, and if you dare to hit one of them be happy cuz you will be either instantly rot pot spammed, cut in half by constant discuses or be pierced by leda's needles. also the ash of war spam they can do sometimes is so fun for example: freya lion spamming for 20 seconds straight (not even kidding) or moore rot spamming while being cover by his 2 buddies. also the fact that moore a HEAVY load npc can catch up to me a light load (running high endurance). all in all this fight has no right to exist and i would like the dlc much more without it.

after burning the tree all of the npc's including thiollier dissapeared. i did the whole st trina inbibe nectar and thiollier was not there. i checked a guide on how to do the questline, followed the steps they took and no dice.

Probably would suck if you tried to solo it, I suppose, but there's not really any good reason to do that.

This is one of the few fights that obvioulsy are intended for summoning but I'd say soloing feels about as good as taking out a group of cooperators as a troll invader which is very rewarding. The experience is infuriating tho but it's worth it lol.

well ♥♥♥♥, guess you gonna have to get rid of freyja as fast as possible before the others start spawning, or at least get her super low.
don't let her flask heal (use albinauric pot)

if you haven't got it in your spell bar, get "flame cleanse me" in there to deal with moore's pot tossing.

mega cheese your mimic to compensate for being down 1 npc, possibly have it use shabriri's woe to tank for you.
(tip: mimic will have infinite items even if you only have 1 of said item in your item bar, so say you craft only 1 rot pot, the mimic will have infinite rot pots, a great way to keep it alive is to put a marika's blessing in your item bar, mimic can heal to full, not sure if he can do it repeatedly though).

make sure you take out at least 1-2 of the npcs before Leda spawns, she is by far the most dangerous of them all.

yeah ive been using the yoda katana and gotten to 2 npcs left at best. i think albinauric pot is just the thing i need. thanks for the help!

What makes you say Leda is the most dangerous? I dont think she ever killed me once. Hornsent+Freyja on the other hand...compliment each other in the worst possible way for you.

she isn't that dangerous.
but compared to the others she does some ring of light bs that does more damage than anything the others do... well i mean, you can just use an anti-holy talisman or incantation, but still.
i suppose freyja is a contender for 2nd strongest because of the lion claw.

moore and dryleaf dane aren't a threat imo.

can't speak to hornsent. he was dead in my playthrough because i assisted leda against him.

I see, maybe I got lucky because it seemed easy to dodge but the hornsent homing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was a 1 hit KO at full health and he does it while rushing you with a roll catch (while Freyja throws pots at you) Just brutal.

Haha these posts make it very obvious who blitzed through the DLC without discovering the side content.

These are very likely the same people who complain that the game is too hard and didn't collect tree fragments.

that might be why, because as far as i know that ash is still broken.

I think so, I also think the damage from the homing orbs is absurd, no other boss had 1 hit KOs at full health at that point in the game. Sometimes he spams the orbs which chase you around as he does the swift slash and sticks to you even if you are running away. He's not hard on his own, outside of Freyja none of them have much hp or poise, even moore staggers easily but Hornesnt + any other NPC, specially Freyja or Dane is a death sentence.

i went through the dlc slowly, did every piece of content available in the order i perceived to be story-correct.
max scadutree upgrades and revered spirit ashes.
the game is a bit too rough, outside of solo play.
i dunno, maybe i'm being repeatedly summoned to ng+ sessions, but some fights are wildly hard.
i turned off the radahn and bayle summoning pools because they're just hopeless in multiplayer and an actual waste of time.

bayle is a gimmick fight that 'requires' you to use anti-dragon crap, and i don't want to, nor have the time to gather stuff to craft the harpoons so i can kill the boss for the host.. 0/all of the hosts that summoned me for bayle were using harpoons, so like, if they're too greedy to invest their own ♥♥♥♥ to kill the boss, then good riddance. im out.

i think i managed to beat radahn 1 time in like 50 sessions and that was with maximum cheese from all three participants.

it doesn't help that hosts have ADHD and refuse to wait for co-ops to swap gear/talismans to get ready for a particular boss, let alone wait for buffs.

did it. summoned anncbach and got sum boiled prawn (i forgor about it). still hold the opinion that it was just down to rng if i could win. to those who say skill issue, you might be right but that does not change the fact that the fight fight needs some polishing.
