that and not having a brand new enemy as the last boss.
other than that it was great.
Hated it's return as ulcerated tree spirit.
Cursed out load when I saw it again.
no godwyn
no GEQ
Radahn out of nowhere
no explanation on why Radahn stopped the stars (I think)
no cat npc
Personal preferences aside, I think the lack of St. Trina content is more egregious considering she actually played a significant role in the DLC. Unless you want to cosplay as Thiollier, there's not really anything new of note.
The best is when there are enough pieces for you to mix'n'match existing content to create a cohesive build. The problem is that there are some pretty big holes in what's available to you that there simply isn't anything to mix'n'match for certain things. Want to create a knight of St. Trina? Well, too bad. St. Trina's signature colors are silver and lavender, and there are pretty much 0 armor sets that incorporate those colors, let alone knightly sets.
I really wish the armor alteration system let you change armor color (changing emblems and symbols would be nice, too), as it would at least fix a lot of the fashion issues.
Another, more practical thing I think is missing from the DLC is a proper fire weapon buff incantation. Bloodflame Blade is simply weaker than Electrify Armament or Order's Blade unless you're putting it on a bleed weapon, and Black Flame Blade requires it's own unique playstyle. Especially with the introduction of Messmerfire as a concept, I really would have thought they would add a new weapon buff to fill in that missing gap.
-no godwyn maybe could of been a secret boss fight
-radahn as final boss
- Unrewarding exploration (please give us MORE smithing stones and cookbooks next time, FromSoft, please)
- Infinite stamina, non-stop attacks, and excessive AOEs accounting for most of the DLC's "difficulty" (not that many thoughtful enemy encounters)
- Multiplayer system is still kind of a drag
- So many unanswered lore questions remain (my personal biggest disappointment)
- No Torrent customization or character armor transmog/customization
it was just a garbage filling screen i couldn't even see what was happening I know its a god but still, could it be more... appreciable?
I was expecing something like Lorian & Lothric a perfect example of how good it could be instead of what we got
but in general I had fun, lots of new weapons and armors and places to go,
Bosses.
Broken quests.
I was forgetting the copy and paste content from the base game of course.
