What are you most disappointed by in the DLC?
Just wondering, I am sure everyone has some element, enemy, or such they would have liked to see in the DLC that didn't end up appearing. What is yours?

For me, I loved the Eternal Cities, was really hoping to see one in the Shadow Lands, maybe some "Eternal Palace" or such, learn a bit more about them. But nah, nothin.

that it was the only DLC. i want more!

that and not having a brand new enemy as the last boss.

other than that it was great.

I didn't like pus of man in Dark Souls 3.
Hated it's return as ulcerated tree spirit.
Cursed out load when I saw it again.
The bosses that just spam ramming at you or slamming at you... It's boring and lazy honestly... Then you have the AOE... It's like really? With the bosses they stopped trying... Then the nurfs were bad they killed half the game which tossed any kind of deep thought about balance out the window.

I am disappointed that more people didn't enjoy such a high quality fromsoft release. It's probably the most saddening thing that could have happened

The worst thing that came from the dlc is the amount of crybabies so they had to nerf the dlc lol

Lack of cutscenes, lack of a more satifying end and lack of content in some zones (namely Abyssal Woods and Cerulean Coast)

too many empty areas (flower fields, finger ruins)
no godwyn
no GEQ
Radahn out of nowhere
no explanation on why Radahn stopped the stars (I think)
no cat npc

Elden Ring has a lot of concepts that are barely touched in the base game, and the DLC still left a lot of them unexplored. My particular favorite is black flame. I just think it looks cool. Loved dark pyromancy in DS3, was pleased to see it return in ER but there's just way too few things related to it. One weapon, one ash of war, and a handful of spells. I haven't finished the DLC yet, but I haven't encountered any new black flame equipment.

Personal preferences aside, I think the lack of St. Trina content is more egregious considering she actually played a significant role in the DLC. Unless you want to cosplay as Thiollier, there's not really anything new of note.

The best is when there are enough pieces for you to mix'n'match existing content to create a cohesive build. The problem is that there are some pretty big holes in what's available to you that there simply isn't anything to mix'n'match for certain things. Want to create a knight of St. Trina? Well, too bad. St. Trina's signature colors are silver and lavender, and there are pretty much 0 armor sets that incorporate those colors, let alone knightly sets.

I really wish the armor alteration system let you change armor color (changing emblems and symbols would be nice, too), as it would at least fix a lot of the fashion issues.

Another, more practical thing I think is missing from the DLC is a proper fire weapon buff incantation. Bloodflame Blade is simply weaker than Electrify Armament or Order's Blade unless you're putting it on a bleed weapon, and Black Flame Blade requires it's own unique playstyle. Especially with the introduction of Messmerfire as a concept, I really would have thought they would add a new weapon buff to fill in that missing gap.

No new godskin apostles incantations or any reference to gloom eye queen hopefully if they do plan on making another dlc they give them some focus
-no godwyn maybe could of been a secret boss fight
-radahn as final boss

- Recycled enemies
- Unrewarding exploration (please give us MORE smithing stones and cookbooks next time, FromSoft, please)
- Infinite stamina, non-stop attacks, and excessive AOEs accounting for most of the DLC's "difficulty" (not that many thoughtful enemy encounters)
- Multiplayer system is still kind of a drag
- So many unanswered lore questions remain (my personal biggest disappointment)
- No Torrent customization or character armor transmog/customization

final boss.
it was just a garbage filling screen i couldn't even see what was happening I know its a god but still, could it be more... appreciable?
I was expecing something like Lorian & Lothric a perfect example of how good it could be instead of what we got

but in general I had fun, lots of new weapons and armors and places to go,

Broken quests.
