It's like a betwixt between the new and the old, feels great to go through every time.
Mostly because of the impeccable timing of the weather outside when i've first went there. Imagine the choir kicking in, looking outside and the sky's all red suddenly irl. Around the launch of this game, there was a big dust cloud that made it all the way from the Sahara desert to Europe in 2022, that colored the sky red and there was faded red dust sticking on surfaces everywhere for a while. The Caelid memes that followed were abundant.
The music is really cool there when all the champions are gathering, that's such an awesome moment.
Nice and challenging and I feel like I'm actually getting compensated appropriately for my time with the rune output. Everywhere else is just a boring slog of dozens the same caves and catacombs with nothing worthwhile in them.
I mean, Nokstella and Deeproot aren't exactly challenging by the time I get to them, but the enemies are at least fun to fight.
