Festering Bloody Finger Quest Problem

has anyone else experienced this problem. I have gotten the festered finger and have been told to try using it and invading people, however, no matter how many times I do it I go back to the guy at the rose church and he wont anoint me. All he says is "be sure to try that finger I gave you, im quite certain you will take to it." Do I have to do the invasion around him? anyone have an Idea how to get past this point in the quest

If everything else fails, you could try to do the offline invasion at Atlus Plateau.

You need to do 3 invasions or kill specific NPC in Altus.

i did i used all 5 fingers. i even went into inventory and then pressed use. Invaded 3 people and he said that line, so i went and did it 2 more times and he is still saying the same thing

Then go for the NPC. Writheblood ruins is the location and there is red sign.

try going to writheblood ruins in altus plateau and kill the npc invader there ( magnus )

im having the same issue
i invaded 3 times and i also killed the npc invasion at writheblood ruins.
went back to varre and he still says be sure to try that finger

There could be a server problem, maintenance or anything else. It's a common thing on tuesdays. Or maybe you just need to fast travel or rest in a grace
