Mimic Tear.....

Did the mimic tear boss remind anyone of the Dark Link boss fight in Ocarina of Time? I found it to be a pretty weak boss compared to Dark Link. At least the latter mimicked your 'every' move as a mirror image. The only way you could score a hit was with a jump power attack or a charge up spin.

I can see the resemblance. Both are doppelganger fights.

Well, realistically one is usually a fight between a fully equipped demi-god and some naked dude who can only punch and throw rocks in frustration.

It copies your current character, so if you are weak, the boss is weak.

I don't think it does. It copies the form of your character, weapon, shield, armour but your strength, vigor, dex, arcane, stats?
