early spear dex weapon

on my second playthrough. i want to go for a dex / faith build . the scythe is a bit away, is there an early dex spear weapon which i can get easy?

The Prophet starts with one - can be bought in Roundtable Hold

You can farm the partisan early too, but it has a low drop rate on that first knight.

If you don't mind taking a little trek, you can grab the Naginata from Gael Tunnel. It's in a room with an octopus. You can pretty easily roll past all the goons if you're not up to fighting them just yet.

ah yes the naginata, already planned that one, but ist deeper in the game as i remember

Guardian Swordspear. It has a unique moveset, like a cross between spear and halberd. Farm one, keen it up, and enjoy

Cross naginata is the no-brainer choice. Base B scaling in dex, A scaling with keen. It can take ashes of war, can be infused or buffed, so it's suitable for the faith hybrid. Short trip to Gael Tunnel and it's yours, no need to fight anything to reach it.

is there an easy and fast way to get the naginata early? my first playthrough was with the fextralife walkthrough (only for the optimal route) and it took a while to get that weapon

If you're unlocking the DLC early, I would recommend the swift spear or Messmer solider spear are underrated gems

You can take the Stormveil shortcut to Liurnia to quickly fetch the Treespear.

short spear on the prophet starter gear is quick. swift spear early in the DLC is similarly so.

Just slap on Sacred Blade on a spear of your liking and it's going to be solid

Partizan has a great moveset against the other options but requires a slight grind.

Also the Scythe in question takes 10 minutes to get on a fresh caracter, not that far at all.

got my hands on the naginata, it was pretty fast! now for the scythe if its also that easy to get
