Hardest DLC boss.
So what boss in the dlc did you think as the hardest?

To me, it HAD to be Bayle, hands down. I thin I'm currently at 0 and 64 on him.

Yes I do it on NG3 and my scadutree is a lowly 17. But I'm still failing.

What was yours?

NG, blessing 11 or somesuch.
Bayle sure was annoying, you barely enter the arena only to immediately get blasted by breath and then slammed in the next second, mofo doesn't even give you time to summon angry hobo.
Good thing Igon seem to be immortal at least.

I mean yeah? And Radahn can be beaten easily with a shield with little brain power, Malenia cannot be cheesed like this. I mean I don't see how this deters from my original point of learning their kits makes Malenia more difficult. If anything it only adds to my point that it takes more knowledge to beat Malenia than Radahn.
Let me put it like this. If a player wanders into each arena completely blind and starts throwing random bullsh*t out, they have a much much higher chance of lucking into beating Malenia first try than they do Radahn. Still not a good chance or anything, but certain builds that people would actually use for clearing areas are good for Malenia, while the cheese strat for Radahn is full unbridled turtle, which isn't fun or usual for fighting normal enemies with.
If you try to say, you can do x thing against this boss that makes it easier, you can do x thing to any boss and make them easier. That example isn't useful in this conversation. When you mention throwing things, you cannot constitute this idea as what it means to gauge difficulty. It is best to judge Malenia and Radahn's difficulty by looking at their mechanics, the learning curve. Luck is not a valid criterion for comparison and contributes little to the total difficulty. Radahn and Malenia function completely opposite of each other, both are extremely fair.

What I'm getting at isn't the luck, it's that Malenia has a far wider range of valid options for countering her, besides just memorizing the timing and direction to dodge every attack flawlessly. For Radahn you either have to memorize everything, or go full turtle. There are far fewer workable strategies countering him, since he tends to just facetank anything you hit him with and keep swinging.

Bayle is hardest for me. I do it without summon, and it took me forever until I learned to fight unlocked. He's so large and his head sways so much he can hit me behind the shield while I'm looking at its head and his other arm attacks me. Who the F came up with the idea that a dragon the size of Godzilla has only one lock-on spot. F the devs.

Would have to be P2 Radahn

1. Get flash banged
2. Get absolutely mauled
3. Repeat steps 1-2 until you embrace the madness of this fight that even tops the Frenzied Flame with how chaotic it is
