Sorceress Sellen Quest..

let me start off by saying ...

OMG.. the mOANING already 🫨..

Uhuh, exactly that ↑ 😐 .. I have came to the point , iam able to rip out sellens primal glimstone (i believe) , not just once but several times and hear her moaning , and groaning and .. for the love of god... i can't progress.

Fun fact, have read about all the key points of interest in this quest.. and NOWHERE, and i do mean NOWHERE do i find jester "jerren" 👀 !!!!..

Killing both sellen, and sellens bodycam (witchbane ruins) , and go to church every sunday afterwards to reset this event.. 🤭 doesn't help either..

I mean, it's like he's disappeared from the face of the entire elden ring map... the DLC Shadow of Erdtree map included !!??

iam like, is this the ONE quest that can be so bugged/glitched , you actuall can't complete it anymore 😱 ??

Am i like full tilt tarnished now , for putting myself into this fine mess ?

2nd.. i think there's no FIX for this particular quest imo ... I have done some reading, and appearantly .. This quest abruptly can cut you off, making it impossible for you to complete it 😏.

No jerren = no Armor = Quest unresolved ..

Though, mommy do meet the criteria to proceed.. found Grand Master Lusat, Azur comet = check.. etc etc.. only Jerren keeps hidding from mommy 🤭

NOrmaly i wouldn't take side of Jerren, iam kind of like a Sellen person..

But for the sake of this quest.. i would LUV taking jerren's side, if that ONLY would mean, for him to appear somewhere .. in PERSON 😐 !

Jerren for this quest is not essential at all.
1. Find Sellen, buy spells.
2. Find Azur. Get Comet Azur.
3. Return to Sellen.
4. Find Lusat. Get another spell.
5. Return to Sellen.
6. Go to alt Sellen location and get the essence.
7. Go to Seluvis lab and deliver previously taken essence.
8. Infront of Rennala boss room there are two signs red and gold. One to help Sellen and the other to help Jerren.

I think where Sellen sells sorceries you cannot attack and in the other location you kill her so the church visit should not restore her.

6. = Check / Checked V .. countless times , and point of no progression anymore at the same time !

But interestingly , the church of vows DOES infact restores BOTH Sellen spirit & sellens body (witchbane ruins)

Anyway, i've made copies of both save states before and after sellen quests ..
I'll restore an old save, and see what's the deal with jerren.. cuz according to wiki , jerren is INFACT a KEY figure/character for this quest to proceed !!

..oh and before you ask.. i especially have completed Ranni Witch (blaid) quest.. just to check and see if these quests do influence eachother or not..

Cuz frankly , they have made an big maze of these sidequests.. in a sense, they ALL ARE TIGHT TOGETHER .. good lord !! if you proceed one quest too far, you are unable to complete another quest and so on and ON .. BIG MESSY SYSTEM if you ask MOMMY 🤨

Jerren is sitting in Redmane castle, after killing Radahn he would move eventually to witchbane ruins and do little small talk. That he would not expect champion of festival in a place like this. Something about Sellen being dead(after you took the essence already), but it's unlikely for her to die like that and she likely will be back.

Once you pull out the glintstone you have to fast travel to another site of grace then RETURN where shes shackled to the wall and the theres a new NPC there standing over her body, its the guy from the event where you kill Starscourge Radahn. Click all his dialogue, then you can do the next step.

There's the flaw.. ! a. i don't recall ever having mett jerren there.. B. if i had, and he's not at redmane anymore he should be at witchbane..

Anyway, have checked Seluvi's secret base .. to check jerrens whereabouts ..

But , here's the interesting part about jerren..

I have read, he also appear at → Academy of Raya Lucaria 🤔 ...
But i guess that's the critical part at where you need to choose and pick your poison (sellen or jerren 🤭)

Tried that too.. i believe thats called a "reset" ingame ..

unfortunately.. jerren appears to be MIA .. that or he's MIGHTY AFRAID from this mommy (✿◡‿◡) 🤭

EDIT: oh and , didn't find jerrens outfit ... yet.. so he very much is still alive and kicking somewhere... 🤔
