How to deal with Blistered Crow?

Shields are you're friend as a melee.
If you're referring to the monstrous crows all over caelid I usually avoid them.

Dodge forward instead of dodging back, you can usually get inbetween his legs, the attacks usually miss you if you are right under

I'm talking about the crows in Mohgwyn's Palace specifically that spam that one move that covers way too much ground, way too quickly. Kind of why I specifically referred to that variant in my thread title...

Yes, i know, that's the one i'm referring to. The one on the blood lake.
Rolling forward to get inbetween his legs usually works.

The blood crows have no good drops and even the runes aren't worth the effort if you aren't doing the bow cheese. I just sneak past them and don't engage. You can slap on the Black Knife Armor or Crepus' Vial or something to make it even easier.

It's okay, I managed to beat them. The first couple times I fought them, they almost exclusively used that ground drag attack. Never found a counter to it, sticking to their feet as repeatedly suggested puts me directly inside of its hitbox. In any case I got godly RNG where they just forgot that they had that "I win" move up their sleeve and let me kill them.

That was my first attempt, but there's three NPC invasions in the area that force you off of your horse.
