gameplay difference between mini-pc and built desktop
I have found some extreme differences between playing on my beelink ser7 mini pc utilizing the 7840hs laptop processor (integrated rdna2 graphics) vs my fully built desktop which is a 7800x3d + 7900xtx

one thing i notice is that I have an easier time playing the game on my mini-pc. going off the tutorial zone alone (when you drop down the hole killing undead and eventually the "light boss" at the end) there is a huge difference in how the npc's fight.

on my mini-pc, there is no "charge up" to attacking. they just reach up and then down swing. its very easy for me to counter because of that lack of delay. my timing is perfect.

however, on my main desktop, I noticed that they will raise their sword up, wait, wait, wait, then attack. which throws my timing to hell.

why would two different computers have two different "feels" to them.

even then, playing further to compare save file vs save file. enemies with multiple attack patterns, are very easy to understand on my mini pc. for example fighting the dragon that is down and to the right of the main starting zone. the fight was 1000x easier on my mini-pc because his attack patterns were less random. meanwhile on my desktop, the attack patterns dont change. its like the dragon for example only has two attacks. swooping down claw attack and fire breathing side to side with maybe the fly-by fire attack. meanwhile on the mini pc, it seems the dragon will opt for more land based attacks utilizing his wing attack and bite without relying on flames. why is that? why can two systems have two completely different fights? for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles i did this test about 10 times on each. while the fight was harder on my desktop, it was always "easier" on my mini-pc.

so far, every fight i compare desktop vs mini-pc, the mini-pc is 1000s of times easier to play. its very odd.

the only difference I can think of is maybe fps. my desktop will hold 60 fps all day every day without every dropping down ever. 3440x1440 resolution and maxed settings. meanwhile my mini-pc I play 1080p on lowest getting anywhere between 30-60 with an average of 48fps. and for whatever reason, the game feels 10x easier on the mini-pc.

it makes me wonder, if consoles having been designed for 30fps play, might be even easier or as easy as my mini-pc. and WHY such a thing even exists? why would enemy attack patterns vary so widly between to systems? it doesn't make sense.

even playing on the steamdeck, i once again notice differences in how the game reacts to the player.

A better or lesser CPU doesn't change the AI of the enemies. Frame rate might as it's speeding or slowing down. Interesting theory though.
