Last thing i can do is letting steam search through the files for errors.
If that doesn´t work then the update bricked the game for me.
guess i have to wait then for a hotfix that will hopefully come
It is also worth noting that my hard drive isn´t full. There is more than enough space
im on amd for reference so its not just nvidia
Well thats a shame
start by going to your library
< right click on ELDEN RING
< open properties
i have it in german so i dont know what its named for you
its the 3rd option if you go from top to bottom. And then you should find a button to check the files
if this is unclear i advice you to check out youtube or google because this is a pretty well known trick
<try updating your driver (never hurts doing so)
<restart computer after installation
< check steam files (fixed for me)
<start by going to your library
< right click on ELDEN RING
< open properties
< click the option "local files"
< there should be a option to check game files
