But I wanted a better coop experience and both EAC, crappy bandai servers and the horrid every 15-30 minute resummon of friends lead me to modded coop. Just wihs they would add messages to it.
I installed the same mods on my Steam Deck. Went from 20-30 fps to a consistent 40. It's insane how much of a difference it makes.
Well I would recommend Seamless Coop mod if you still want to play with people, it's insanely active, runs without EAC AND runs on much better steam servers instead of bandick server trash. Still dont get messages or bloodstains but has all the other MP features with larger coop groups and no fog walls or disconnects after bosses. Just continues MP runs.
It does use a different new save though just FYI.
It's strange that the game even has AC/DRM since it's only relevant for PvP which most people never bother to interact with either way because of how bad it is in Souls games.
