DS4 will never happen and probably neither ER 2
fromsoft doesn't like to make sequels for those games
Oh yeah... or Demon Souls 2...
I would like a Bloodborne sequel, but that’s not entirely up to From.
And any sort of Souls or Elden Ring like game with whole new lore would be good.
There were rumors about some new smaller open world game that focused on magic.
The new claws and dry leaf arts in the DLC also make me wonder if this is experimenting for something with more hand-to-hand combat.
Fromsoft doesn't do mmo they make single player games
that's like expecting Bethesda to make a game that isn't a skyrim remaster
jokes aside, I'm hoping for a Bloodborne PC remaster or port.
They used the "souls formula" for over a decade now and with the current DLC they IMO pushed it to its limits.
If they continue with the same formula, they will probably get a lot of flak for not expanding and sticking to the old stuff again (ER has TONS of DS3 DNA in it already).
So either they make a real overhaul of the formula or just abandon it entirely.
I oftentimes think that they did not continue Sekiro (my favorite FS title), because they won't be able to capture the same feeling a second time around. Sorta like better leaving on a good note than a bad one. And I can absolutely understand that decision.
Regardless, I am really excited what FromSoft is coming up next.
