Thre's nothing to do with Ray Tracing... A lot of people are suffering with performance issues, even with RT disabled , even in High end machines with everything on LOW. Only FROM software can fix this bad optimization in the updates....
Nothing running in the background, drivers are all up to date.
Playing on the SSD drive.
It works the same with both m&k, usb pad and bluetooth pad, so i guess its not the root of the problem.
As you mentioned, the game runs just fine in between the lags, but I dunno whats causing them.
Is there any other way to disable the anticheat soft? Maybe that's the issue
What managed to fix it for me is that i had Oculus services that were scanning for hardware changes every 5-10 minutes 'Oculus VR Runtime Service', and 'Oculus VR Library Service', and a dodgy 'Logitech lamp array' service.
Using task manager, i opened up the services window, found and stopped all three services and put them to 'disabled', after a restart i haven't had a single freeze.
