What are the top weapons/bleed weapons?
I started a ng and chose samurai and I have got the bloodhound fang +5 quite early in my playthrough, Does anyone recommend some really good wepons or bleed weapons?
Thanks

Chicken leg is at the very top. It's a DLC weapon, so if you don't own the DLC you're kinda SoL on that one.

Nagakiba is great and early game and versatile. Especially when you add blood flame.blade to it.

Raptors talons will not only bleed extremely quickly, it'll stack massive cumulative damage through the 2 talismans and the tear. It's actually the best weapon to proc bleed, and despite that, the damage on cumulative attacks often outpace it.

If you can get off 3 R2s (each one hits 4 times, but extremely quick, and 2 presses is still a true combo) you will make all bleedable enemies bleed.

Its fantastic for pvp too due to the true combo mentioned above.

Its extremely underrated, and really should be nerferd.

You just made a thread about getting that thing upgraded to +10 for you
Are you sure that friend of yours with the game complete can't give you any pointers to what's a good bleed weapon?

Thanks

That is theoretically possible, but why?
It would just ruin the natural pacing of progression
My friend wants to try different weapons and that because he's already completed the game but can't be asked going around the whole map just to upgrade his stuff

Come on at least be straight if you want help, and if you keep spamming these threads instead of just going for a meta-guide.
It was less than an hour you already made a topic on the same issue.

Hmm, Mohqwyn Sacred Spear with its Bloodboon Ritual is hands down the most powerful bleed weapon. Not only you buff the weapon with bloodflame after using the ash of war, it also cause massive blood loss in a big radius (it also ignore floors and walls....) literally melting everything not being resistant to fire or blood. Only problem is little hyper armor during the ritual channeling.

It did, but it still does more bleed buildup than any other weapon in the entire game and hits like a truck. The nerf really didn't change much. It only means that you might need an extra hit or two to cause bleed, but otherwise it's relatively the same.

In pvp it really didn't change much at all especially. You still get insta bled if you wear light armor for example, but heavy armor might require 2 hits.
