Smithscript Weapons and Arrow Talismans:
Since the thread saying that all the Arrow Talismans worked on the new thrown weapons isn't being appropriately updated - some info for people that are interested.

Arrow's Reach and Arrow's Soaring Sting DO provide bonus range to:
- Throw Distance (only slight) to Greathammer, Axe and the Spear throws.
- Fall-off Damage mitigation to Greathammer, Axe and the Spear throws.

Arrow's Soaring Sting DOES NOT:
- Increase damage from Greathammer, Axe or Spear Throws.

Arrow's Sting DOES NOT:
- Increase damage from Greathammer, Axe or Spear Throws.

Sharpshot Talisman DOES NOT:
- Increase any damage from any Smithscript weapons, whether on body or headshots. (This talisman's actual function is to increase damage when aiming 'down sights' - i.e. zoomed in)

Smithscript Daggers and Cirque are unaffected by ALL of these talismans.

Messmer's Spear
- Range IS increased by Arrow's Reach and Arrow's Soaring Sting.
- Damage is NOT increased by Arrow's Soaring Sting or Arrow's Sting (or Sharpshot Talisman on body or headshot).

Claws of Night
Difficult to test these for range, as they have multiple projectiles with wide spread - however after a fair bit of testing they seem unaffected by all the talismans; with fixed range similar to Smithscript Daggers and Cirque.

PS - I tested weapons in both left and right hand to confirm there were no bug related buffs based on which hand they were equipped.

No other items or gear were used or equipped, exclusively each talisman.

In addition - Arrow's Reach seems to provide slightly more range than Arrow's Soaring Sting (to the weapons that it affects).

Some additional words about talismans and smithscript though:

They ARE affected by attack type buffs.

- Claw Talisman and Raptor's Black Feathers/Gravebird's Blackquill Armour increases the damage of all jumping thrown attacks.
- Axe Talisman increases the damage of charged heavy thrown attacks.
- Two-Handed Sword Talisman increases the damage of all thrown attacks when two-handing.
- Lacerating Crossed-Tree and Leda's Armour increase the damage of all dashing thrown attacks (sprinting attacks).

Thank you for this!

And yes, Arrow's Soaring Sting seems to be a middle ground between Arrow's Reach and Arrow's Sting. Not as good as the specialised ones but you get a bit of both.

Tested this with Ambush Shard on my mage build.

Doesn't matter if arrow talismans effect them.

They are still exceptionally easy to buff 4 talismans deep.

Throws count as charge attacks for axe talisman, projectiles can proc thorny tear, can be infused with elements.

Throws can be done mid air for claw talisman etc.

Piercing throwing weapons count as counterattack for spear talisman.

Light weapons buffed by blue dancer etc.

Smith weapons have some of the highest dmg in the game pound for pound.

You should make this a guide.

Thanks for your testing.
