Messmer done with 9/6 in DLC blessings.

Is my build broken or was this fight way easier than what people says it is?
I used a Meteoric oreblade +9 off hand and a cold Uchigatana +24 with chilling mist in my main hand. No Buffs other than my mixed physic (the two tears that negate dmg).
60 vig, 26 end, 50 str, 50 dex, 25 int.
It took me less than 1 h.

I had a similar experience. He was awesome to fight, but I beat him in under an hour as well.

Meh...6 blessings is kinda a lot for your stats

It's good for some but not enough for others...I'm sitting at 148 having a pretty tough time with him with 2 blessings but there are people who level 1 so it's wtvr

Unless you're no hitting the entire franchise in one sitting you ain't ♥♥♥♥ really

Messmer's difficulty is overrated, mostly by people who don't have any Scadutree Blessings. He's not a pushover, sure, but he's nothing compared to the final boss or even Rellana honestly.

You beat a boss with an extreme weakness to bleed and frost using a bleed weapon that you proc'd with frost. I mean, there's a reason it was easy for you.

Almost 1hour is much longer than most people are willing to accept.
In Dark Souls 3 base game for example the only boss that took me more than 1hour was
Cinder....

People usually expect to beat a boss within 10 tries...
i dont know why but thats the way it is....

I so far am not far in the DLC but i think i am close to Mesmer since i get this resins that are called mesmer something now frequently.

So far i have fought 1 time with mimic and 1 time soloi

All bosses so far fought at 7/4

Divine Beast = mimic 1st try , solo 9 tries ~ 15 mintutes using big Hammer with frost
Rellana = mimic 1st try , solo 12 tries ~ 15 minutes using parry
Hippi = mimic 1st try , solo 1st try ~ 2 minutes

i would be surprised if mesmer takes more than 30 minutes to be honest

I was at messmer at 7/4 and it didn't go well. Also 7/4 now is not 7/4 then...

I dont think so , since with summon i expect most people to be able to beat any boss except Radahn within maximum 10 tries and not in just under 1hour lol

Since you imply almost taking an hour, your build clearly isn't broken. I'd say, you've gotten the average Messmer experience.

The only thing, i get from this thread is yet another affirmation, that there needs to be a replenishable source for (Somber) Ancient Dragon Somber Smithing-Stones. It made no sense for slabs to be finite in DS3 and it makes even less sense in ER with all those whacky weapons.

his blessings are 9/20..... 6/10 is the summon blessings and i suspect he didnt use spirit ashes when he takes almost 1hour to beat a boss
