Messmer done with 9/6 in DLC blessings.

Is my build broken or was this fight way easier than what people says it is?
I used a Meteoric oreblade +9 off hand and a cold Uchigatana +24 with chilling mist in my main hand. No Buffs other than my mixed physic (the two tears that negate dmg).
60 vig, 26 end, 50 str, 50 dex, 25 int.
It took me less than 1 h.

I'm assuming you used summons since you're posting both DLC stats

I dont think so , since with summon i expect most people to be able to beat any boss except Radahn within maximum 10 tries and not in just under 1hour lol

But isn't that what the split means(x/x)? Why post the buff to summons and Torrent as well when it's not relevent

Honestly I have no idea how it works I leveled twice to see what was up and really didn't look further into it...Lion became a bit too easy and I just decided to try hard for the rest of my run

If it took him almost 1h to beat Mesmer when using summons and he tries to even brag about it this is a serious shot in the knee by himself

Messmer is a normal difficult boss. It's also well designed, contrary to every other in the DLC. 9 blessings is very low for him, though, so you did good.

Rellana was quite chill.. aside from when she comboed her 2 moons with the magical fllying swords, the moment I was going to jump the swords hit me and I got hit by all 3 waves and died, that made me rage. (less tahn 30min trying)
Mesmer is a push over because he can 1shot 60 VIG with high resistances with grab or some of his combos (and he denied me victory like some 8 times, denied because he was 1 or 2 hits away from being killed).

I did Messmer at 9/5 and only needed to actually attack him a few times. Land a solid Scarlet Aeonia once in phase one and another in phase two (alternatively, rot weapons/grease -- don't use breath, animation is too long) and two hand block with a beefy shield.

Edit: Use the mimic and it will probably throw out a Scarlet Aeonia or two as well. Frost procs work well, so if you can get a couple of Chilling Mists off it takes a nice chunk out of him.

Same...Messmers a lot more complex to dodge than Rellana...Rellanas hardest moves are her sword combos and even then...rolling toward her pretty much solves it...

Messmer you have to be close enough to roll through it and behind on top of his ridiculously odd delays

In less than 14 min I had got her to my first 2 moons with jump attack and light weight (I dont parry in any Dark Souls or ER.. or any other souls-like game that is not The Surge 2 or For Honor when I used to play that).
