I've yet to really find a comfortable to use Ash of War to "spam" through the game
I'm just so used to quality/occult physical stats that any compromise to health/melee damage just doesn't seem worth it outside spells
Sure Takers Flames makes things easy, but inefficient outside dunking on Malenia.
Maybe now with FP regen on an amulet the spamming becomes more valid since the Mind stat is more or less irrelevant.
Yeah that is low life one touch scaling for 4.5 k. But even full health scaling at 3k is plenty.
Haven't tried it on a quality build
Though on my Occult Halberd main it's a DPS loss
The humanoid hurling aspect of it is really nice for safety though
Normal enemies? One shot. Elite enemies? Staggered and two shot. Fire Knights? Repeatedly knocked down and three shot.
Even the bosses are easy because you don't have to get into melee with them. Rellana? Stagger broken from afar. Messmer? Set up the damage wave then dodge his attacks. All those humanoid invaders in the mausoleums? They can't stand up without being knocked back down. Uber Divine Lion? One shot killed all his frog friends while just normal DPSing.
Even works great on Bayle. He's constantly moving around the arena so it's annoying to get close to him. But the Waves of Gold just traverse half the arena and reach him anyway. PC Raddy? Well, he's probably not ideal for it in a 1v1. But it's great for supporting other people on their own attempts. For your run, Rivers of Blood works well with the same setup because the skill does so much damage on its own even independent of the bleed procs.
Then we have stuff like the new Twin Greatswords you get from the remembrance. Moonveil has nothing on these.
It's just about your stacking options.
A Smith hammer gets Smith talisman, axe talisman, elemental talisman, two hand talisman.
10%+10%+12%+15% = 47%
Then you have your two tears on top of it.
Sure 3k easy.
