Fromsoft censorship is a bit of a joke.
A player named "black knight" becomes "black k***ht" and "Anthony" becomes "Ant**ny".
Theres some names you cant even read at all.

Who signed off on this and who continues to let this go on?

In many regards, fromsoft has moved forward but in this regard they are stuck in the p**t.

Isnt this a joke?
I thought this problem was only in dark souls 1 and people kept calling themselves K***ht for the joke in reference of the desastrous DS1 censor system, since i have ocasionally seen some uncensored Knights from what i remember

I am yet to see an uncensored knight. when I do it will stand out to me big time. I will screenshot it and make it my desktop.

maybe depends on the language you play in, i can swear i saw some knights back in DS3 and early ER days

They went with the safety first reason later. But players still manage to make inappropriate stuff with different use of words
