Player levels and multiplayer

Hey there.

NG+3 player about to go into 4, lvl 200. Yesterday and today I sat in the summon pool for hours without any summons. I even have the hunter ring on.

Have I leveled myself out of the playerbase? what is everyones average level? Im pretty much only interested in playing with others at this stage, single player bores me.

There is no way to de-level.
I was getting loads of summons and now its nothing at all. Its like as if no one is playing anymore.

some people reporting to have no world or no textures atm so they can't play. If that's a bigger problem with the patch that just dropped, this might be the reason. Also if you keep playing after an update dropped you might not be able to connect to other players because the game servers see that you are on an old version

ah okay maybe thats why... I was sitting for hours yesterday idle waiting for a summon and nothing so im not sure.
my version is up to date but maybe others are playing older version.

its just a let down. I just want to play with others.

I'm at 245 and get summoned within 1 minute mostly in dlc zones.

276 and not much action. Then again, I just started Journey 4 (NG+3)

I'd expect lvl200 players to be the first ones to drop the game after beating the DLC yeah

it seems to be a bit hit and miss, the times that ppl tend to play probably has an effect on this. I ended up getting a few summons, I guess it took a bit for everyone to patch up.

I plan to get every ending and I want to see if doing things in the DLC effects your endings at all. I am a bit of a lore hunter and multiple playthroughs are needed for a full picture.
It can be hard to commit that much as I have other things in life to do eeep.

I love the DLC. The challenge was a bit full on at first but it didnt take long to get used to the more aggressive bosses. Playing core game is a breeze now haha.

Pretty sure the level range is generous enough that 200 shouldn't strictly matter, though a lot of people seem to be going around like sub 150. I think it's mostly just going to be up to supply and demand, only so many signs can show up at the pools at once (and sometimes it takes ages for the pool to update) even though so many people are summoning right now. Might be better to just camp out at a grace before some particular boss you want to help with and drop a manual sign.
