Post update game wont launch

Anyone else experiencing this, I do see some other posts but not quite the same. my game just crashes immediately post launch

Just try the typical stuff like verify file integrity from steam and then if that doesn't do it try wiping your cache / clean gpu driver re-install.

If you're using mods obviously wait till the mods are updated before playing again.

same, tried removing any inside mod make it as clean as possible and verifying game still no luck

No issues here, just loaded my game after the update and it works.
Just waiting for patch notes since it was a large update at around 28 gb.

I crashed initially, then loaded into the game with nothing but a grace visible, then got kicked for inappropriate activity lmao

I've heard a lot of people are having these issues.

Nope. No mods. This is definitely just a screw up with the update

It was a small update of 15mb but whatever was changed had to access large packets of data so it's got to go through that 28gb of information to apply the update.

save wont load and crsh to desktop. no mods. 400hrs hope it didnt bork my save. trying to verify steam files now

Yah, same here. Get the splash screen, then fullscreen black and mouse cursor changes. Then crash back to desktop. Updating my Nvidia driver now to see if that works.

EDIT - no mods or anything. Just running Elden Ring with DLC.

Same. No mods, update broke the game. I just get a white screen.

Issues here too. I can launch but keeps telling me updates are available and cannot connect online....
