Anyone got tips for a strength faith build?
I'm thinking great club or zwei (if it's in this game) and some miracles but Idk ♥♥♥♥ about them. Can anyone give me a rundown on a nice build?

Don't need headache about it.
Just use a weapon that you like and use the ash convert to Holy Faith or Fire Faith.
FAI govern 2 type of damage, fire and holy thus you are very flexible and can keep 2 different set weapon for different enemy/dungeon.
Example skull bashing holy blunt weapon for the undead, or the ZWEI fire for tree/religious enemies.
In the end, it is about weapon moveset that you comfortable with.

If you don't mind to use spell, you can either use your left hand or occasionally swap left hand from shield to catalyst just to cast spell.
Scarlet Rot related spell is very powerful against boss (unless they immune) due to the HP percentage based damage.

DEX can speed up casting animation, so you shall not neglect DEX if you want constant combat casting. Else you can really ignore DEX.
Or maybe you just cast spell once in a while such as self heal, cleanse debuff or buff etc.

Finally, depend if you are true gamer want use summon or not.
Especially if you use mimic, which copy exactly your whole body weapon/spell/armor set and can use them forever without cost.
This will lead to more toward offensive spell (purely for your mimic to cast, less by you)
No summon then you will plan another direction because there is only yourself and your comfortability

Godslayer Sword should be enough to get you through the base game.

I recommend leveling Vigor and Strength up first, and picking up the fortifications spells and 10 Faith from Corhyn in the early game. Many of the good offensive incants are not unlocked until the DLC; if you want some offense before that, keep an eye out for the Sacred Blade AoW and the pyromancies. Many of your best buffs also come from scarabs and dungeons/catacombs. Good luck!

Some helpful stopping points for that build if you plan to stop leveling around 125-180

Vigor: 57-60
You need the health, this is still 2 shot range for some bosses.

Mind: ?
I never touch this but you do you.

Endurance: 38-45
Dont use all your softswap spots and it saves a lot of weight, 45 combined with "Erdtree's favor+2" (you'll figure it out when the time comes just take a mental note of the name for now) allows for full heavy armor and about 40 more pounds of weapon shield. I suggest when you level it, turn off your great rune and wear the heaviest set up you are planning on using. Then go 1 point at a time past 35 until you get to medium load, note that you'll have to redo this process once you get the talisman I mentioned above, but by that point it wont be a big deal

Strength: 54
(If going 2h) Effectively 80 since 2h gives a 50% bonus, this is the point where investing more nets you little to no result.
If you aren't going 2h you can be more flexible between these points and Faith but I would still keep it above 40 minimum.

Dexterity: 16/18/20
Prerequisite tiers for gear, mostly for great bows. I don't recommend going 20 unless your passing RL150.

Intelligence: 11
Prerequisite for gear, mostly Smithscript stuff.

Faith: 25/30/Preference
Enough for some of the good defensive incantations and higher weapon requirements. 25 is good enough for base game, but I recommend 30 for the DLC.

Arcane: 11
I think it might be a prerequisite but honestly, I don't remember lol

As for weapons, the current smithscript stuff (locked inside the dlc) have a str/faith scaling on sacred that I can only describe as incompetent lol. The axe 1 handed is almost the exact same damage as a 2 handed greatsword.

Early on there is a Lance on some ruins near a Kaiden sellsword camp. That Lance was my best friend for a very long time.

EDIT: Forgot to mention - Only get the prerequisites as needed. Only level Endurance to push yourself out of heavy load if you make build adjustments as you progress. Prioritize Vigor outside of that early on until you get a feel for what you want to do yourself.

And don't forget Strength prerequisites are a lie if you're 2 handing, since it effectively adds 50% of your Strength while doing so. A Strength prerequisite of 30 would only need 20 total Strength to wield 2 handed. (sorry for redundancy, but it's important lol)

EDIT x2: Smithscript stuff might have gotten fixed in a patch as I was typing this out.

Yep, the Zwei is in the game. You can get it right away and use it for the rest of the game.

Basic STR/FAI would be at least 50 VIG (60 VIG for PvP), 54 STR, 25 FAI (for buffs). Raise DEX and END to meet minimum requirements for weapons/equip load.

There's also a catalyst specifically for STR/FAI ( Clawmark Seal ) that you should fetch if you'd like to use some offensive incantations.
