Seamless co-op should not exist

What a bummer the highest grossing, most popular Fromsoft game's multiplayer is castrated because some players can't stand the mean red players

Seamless allows for invasions now... The setting is ON by default in its .ini file. So, if griefers want to join the next generation of co-op invasions, they are free to use Seamless and do so... In fact, I myself will likely be toggling said option on and off as I play (once the PvP is more stable), to spruce up proceedings.

im pretty sure anyone that went thru putting the mod in knows how to disable this pointless addition

i would say the ironic part is the biggest complainers about the seamless co-op mod cause they wanna be able to invade people who just wanna be left alone to co-op in peace with their friend are also the same people who go around telling everyone who doesn't like the game the same way they do to just go play other games instead-as if removing those people from the invasion pool by not playing the game at all is somehow different and better than removing people from the invasion pool by allowing them to co-op in peace. it's almost like the real thing they want is to waste other people's time and hopefully make them more miserable. cause if it was just about wanting to invade people, there's obviously a massive amount of people who like that system and willingly engage with it, right? just go play with them like you were always going to have to anyway.

The multiplayer in this game being crappy has nothing to do with the invaders? Its crappy cause of the billion fog walls everywhere and constant disconnects and reconnects in order to get passed them

I rarely get disconnected playing with my friend. I agree the fog walls are annoying, as is the lack of using Torrent with friends. I have no idea why they implemented coop like this, but it's what they offered and what we have to deal with. I don't see it changing anytime soon.

I have 1000+ hours in PVP in previous souls titles. ER is the first one I have walked away from PVP. There is no balance, so much bullsh1t and broken items. I don't blame and have nothing against anyone wanting to use seamless for ER. PVP is garbage in ER

seamless got my friend who would never play a soulslike to play. it was quite a bit of fun, i wish we had invasions when we played to see his response. i personally never pop remedy unless i'm in front of a boss and even then i don't really need summons most the time. i figure people who don't like invasions do similar things so you wouldn't even be invading them but to be sent home. OP likes edging

yep this. Anyone can go and pvp in the colosseum. It is open all the time. I see pvp youtubers be pretty active in this regard.
The only complaints come from those dudes who used to disable EAC, use cheat engine to jump on top the church at the beginning and afk there with their pc on.

In fact i guarantee you @♠Mac'd♠ is an afk'er

The draw for me to Seamless Multiplayer isn't the lack of invaders, it's the better connection quality and the removal of all the tedium required to play with a friend.

You addressed the issue in your own post. Some don't like invasions. Mods exist for much less reasons. It's a distraction at best. I solve it by playing offline with the added bonus of doing away with all the ugly message stones. Whenever I read things like a player jumping another while they are bowing I'm reminded how annoying online play can be. I feel bad for players who like to play online but have it ruined by these tools. If anything, there should be more mods to filter out undesirables.
