btw, aren't you mad to player who are enjoying elden ring on offline? aren't they also, to your point, killing the game since you can't invade them? i wonder why you don't speak about it too....
Part of the problem has always been that a lot of people have their fun from figuring things out themselves in these games. You try your own build, figure out whether it works or not and you're probably not playing at peak performance. It's just fun that way. Then suddenly you get invaded by someone running some meta invasion build that only has the stats necessary to use some OP endgame weapon. That's not so fun.
I remember when ER hadn't been out for even a week, no-lifers who had already finished the game were on Reddit, discussing best twink builds for ganking newbies in Limgrave. Those are the kind of people who truly killed PvP in these games.
Hopefully Fromsoft removes or limits PvP to Arenas in their next installment so I can see even more of these funny mald threads that are created by the weird 3% of the games community that ♥♥♥♥ themselves about Invasions every time.
This is my prefered way to play seamless when im the host along friends, they know what a helpfull guy I can be as long as threre are mobs or reds arround. that is until I tell them about my only condition is friendly fire on with PvP open. Hell you don't even get a headsup when invaded you just meander about slaying mobs in shadowkeep only to encounter a pumpkin frenzyflame dude arround the corner, good times. best covenant ever btw
I speak facts, some people just can't handle jolly cooperation.
For some reason ppl fail to understand, that invasions are not mandatory for coop on its own, coop experience will only be improved if invasions are disabled.
Love to see it.
Just putting it out there. The actual PvP community isn't complaining in this game.
It's the invaders.
